Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and technically sound Video Editor Intern who has a strong understanding of camera operations and video editing tools. The ideal candidate must own their own camera equipment and be passionate about creating high-quality, engaging video content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality video footage for interviews, promotional content, testimonials, events, and educational content using your own camera.
• Edit videos for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the IIM SKILLS website.
• Add effects, transitions, music, subtitles, and graphics to enhance storytelling and brand appeal.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to plan, storyboard, and execute video projects.
• Maintain brand consistency in all video assets produced.
• Organize raw footage and maintain a well-structured digital asset library.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media video formats, and camera techniques.

Requirements:

• Must own a personal Laptop.
• Strong understanding of camera operations, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics is a plus.
• Excellent storytelling skills and creative eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Portfolio or showreel of previous work is mandatory.
