At HP Lotion, we're on a mission to revolutionize haircare with our Scalpcare Philosophy. We are a D2C startup building India's leading expert scalpcare brand. We're building a vibrant, modern, and science-backed brand that needs a powerful visual voice to match.

We are looking for a Creative Video Editing Intern who is obsessed with creating scroll-stopping content and loves to push creative boundaries.

What You'll Do (The Mission):

• Transform Raw Footage: Take product videos, founder explanations, and user-generated content and turn it into high-energy, engaging videos for our Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and performance marketing ads.
• Experiment & Innovate: This is your playground. We want you to experiment with different editing styles, visual effects, text animations, trending audio, and unique storytelling formats to see what resonates with our audience.
• Own the Edit: You will be the primary driver of our video post-production, ensuring our content is polished, on-brand, and optimized for social media platforms.
• Collaborate on Concepts: Work directly with our founder and content team to brainstorm video ideas that are both educational (demystifying scalp science) and aspirational (linking scalp health to beauty & fashion).

Who We're Looking For (The Vibe):

• A True Editing Enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for video editing. Your portfolio (even a personal one) showcases your creativity and technical skills.
• A Social Media Native: You intuitively understand what makes a video go viral on Reels and Shorts. You know the trends before they become mainstream.
• Proficient with Editing Tools: You are comfortable with mobile editing apps like CapCut/VN and have experience with (or a strong desire to master) professional software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) is a huge plus!
• A Creative Problem-Solver: You can look at simple footage and see the potential to create something amazing.
• Highly Motivated & Eager to Learn: You see this as an opportunity to build a killer portfolio and learn the ins and outs of D2C brand marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and creative skills
• Experience in Video Color Grading.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Etc)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus
• Pursuing a degree in Film, Media Production, or related field
