Video Editor

As a Social Media Video Editor, you will be the creative force behind our funky, edgy, and

AI-driven video content. Your primary responsibility is to conceptualise, edit, and produce

short-form, high-impact videos that engage audiences, boost conversions, and

strengthen our brand presence. You should have a strong storytelling knack, deep

understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create viral-worthy content

optimized for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and performance

ads.


• A personal laptop in fully working condition(Must Have)

Experience: 5-7 years

Location: Wework, Vikhroli Mumbai

Days: Monday- Friday

Timings: 9:30am - 7:30pm



Responsibilities:

As our Social Media Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual

identity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating fast-paced, high-energy, and trend-driven content that aligns with the brand's

personality. Transform strategic directions into visually engaging, storytelling-driven

content that connects emotionally with Gen Z audiences.

• Conceptualize, edit, and produce short-form and long-form videos for social media and

ad campaigns.

• Apply AI-powered editing tools, motion graphics, and effects to make content visually

compelling.

• Optimize video formats, durations, and styles for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts,

LinkedIn videos, Pinterest clips, and performance ads.

• Stay updated on platform-specific trends, algorithms, and audience behaviours to

maximise engagement. Craft click-worthy thumbnails, engaging captions, and hooks to

increase video watch time.

• Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to align videos with

campaigns and brand messaging. Collaborate with external photographers, freelancers

to create high-quality video content.

• Understand the requirements for performance ads and create various versions and test

different video formats, cuts, and storytelling styles to boost conversion rates.


Must Haves:


• 5-7 years of experience in video editing, especially in a D2C, fashion, lifestyle, or digital-

first brand.


• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing

software.

• Proficiency in AI-powered video editing tools, motion graphics, and VFX.

• A proven track record of creating high-engagement social media videos.

• Deep understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices

(Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Ads).

• Exceptional storytelling, pacing, and editing to make videos addictive and shareable.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with quick turnarounds.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.

• A personal laptop in fully working condition

Nice to Have:

• Experience in AI-generated video content & animation tools.

• Knowledge of performance marketing & ad creatives optimisation.

• Familiarity with 3D animation or AR/VR video editing.
