Role Description

We are looking for a highly creative Video Editor with strong graphic design skills to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to bringing our stories to life, creating compelling short form and long form content that inspires and engages diverse audiences. Success in this position means delivering visually captivating edits and designs that align with our brand’s vision, while thinking outside the box to elevate our message.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Design and integrate creative graphics, illustrations, and motion elements that enhance video storytelling.
• Collaborate with the content and communications team to brainstorm and execute fresh, innovative concepts.
• Maintain brand consistency while experimenting with new styles and creative approaches.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while upholding high-quality standards.
• Stay up to date with editing trends, social media content styles and trends, and new Adobe features.
  

Qualifications

• Strong creative portfolio/showreel, demonstrating both video editing and graphic design skills (submission required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• 1+ years of experience in video editing and design (agency, startup, or social media-focused work preferred).
• Ability to think visually and conceptually, with a knack for storytelling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Pertinent experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
