Video Editor

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, technical expertise in editing software and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling content that aligns with our brand and client expectation

Project & Asset Management

• Organize and maintain project files, footage, and assets in a structured and accessible manner.
• Manage version control and backup processes to ensure data integrity.
• Export and deliver final assets in appropriate formats and resolutions as per project requirements.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Understand creative briefs, Client requirements and industry Specification before starting a project.
• Sort, assemble and edit high-quality video content from raw/ log footage, adhering to Client requirement, Creative brief and brand guidelines.
• Ensure finishing of edits, pacing, and precise storytelling based on requirements.
• Sort and extract B - Rolls and A- Rolls ( interviews) according to the script  and the project intentions.
• Perform professional color correction and audio mixing and mastering to enhance the overall quality of the output.

Audio-Visual Standardization

• Integrate stock music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement visual elements.
• Apply titles, motion graphics, and visual effects where appropriate.
• Ensure all audio-visual components meet the required technical standards and platform specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with creative directors, producers, and client teams to interpret briefs and deliver aligned outcomes.
• Report at every stage about the progress, errors and doubts to the project manager regularly.
• Contribute to creative discussions and planning sessions, offering input on storytelling, style, and pacing.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay informed on emerging trends, techniques, and tools in video editing and post-production.
• Recommend workflow optimizations, new tools, or approaches to enhance efficiency and creative output.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all video deliverables.

Production Support (if applicable)

• Assist in on-site production activities such as camera setup, data transfer, and equipment handling.
• Support the post-shoot process through timely organization and archiving of footage.

Requirements-

• Candidates must have the knowledge and experience of Davinci Resolve, After Effects for video editing .
• Candidates must have experience with color grading.
• Should have the familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe suits.
• Candidates must have an experience of 2 to 3 years in video editing with Davinci Resolve , After Effects and Premier Pro.
• Candidate must be graduate in any field
