Key Responsibilities

• Podcast Video Editing: Edit long-form and short-form podcast videos with a strong focus on narrative flow, conversational rhythm, and audience engagement.

• Music & Sound Design: Curate and blend background music, transitions, and effects that enhance storytelling and emotional impact.

• Reels & Shorts Production: Create platform-optimized short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn snippets) that captures key podcast moments and drives engagement.

• Storytelling through Visuals: Craft compelling narratives through creative use of cuts, pacing, and visual rhythm that align with the brand’s tone and voice.

• B-roll & Visual Layering: Select relevant B-rolls, images, and stock footage to enhance visual interest and message clarity.

• AI-Driven Editing: Use AI-based tools for tasks like transcription, auto-captioning, audio cleanup, or rapid preview cuts to streamline editing workflows.

• Trend Awareness: Stay updated with platform-specific trends, formats, and editing styles to ensure content performs well with current algorithms.

• Social Media Optimization: Adapt edits for different platforms and aspect ratios while maintaining storytelling integrity.

• Footage Management: Organize, trim, and sync multi-camera and audio recordings efficiently while ensuring top-notch output quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing (experience with podcasts, short-form, or social media videos preferred).

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and audio tools like Audition.

• Keen sense for pacing, rhythm, and storytelling in both long and short formats.

• Familiarity with AI and automation tools for video editing and workflow enhancement.

• Deep understanding of short-form content trends and platform algorithms.

• Ability to choose the right visuals and B-rolls to amplify narrative impact.

• Deadline-driven, with strong attention to detail and creative instincts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics or 2D animation.

• Basic color grading and sound mixing expertise for podcast and social formats.

• Video shooting or camera setup knowledge is a plus.
