About the Role

We’re seeking a Video Editor & Animator who can evaluate and approve creative professionals specializing in video, motion graphics, and animation services.

This role focuses heavily on technical vetting, assessing the skill, creativity, and quality of submitted video projects, intro reels, and animated assets to ensure they meet our professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Vetting & Skill Evaluation

• Evaluate video editors and animators based on their technical proficiency, creativity, and project execution.
• Assess editing quality, transitions, pacing, visual storytelling, and sound design.
• Review software skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, etc.).
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in reel submissions and provide structured evaluations.
• Ensure that uploaded video samples meet quality benchmarks (resolution, export settings, aspect ratios, etc.).
• Collaborate with the support or moderation team (via platforms like Zendesk or Salesforce) to manage tickets related to video/animation approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Media, Design, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, animation, or post-production.
• Strong command of creative software tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop / Illustrator (for motion assets), Blender / Cinema 4D (a plus)
• Ability to evaluate both technical quality and creative direction of a video or animation.
• Excellent eye for detail, timing, composition, and storytelling.
• Clear understanding of modern content formats (Reels, Explainers, Ads, Logo Animations, YouTube edits, etc.).

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in content moderation, QA, or vetting creative submissions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and motion design trends.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for giving constructive feedback.
• Passion for maintaining high creative standards and supporting emerging talent.
