Job Title: Video Editing & Motion Graphics Trainer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editing & Motion Graphics Trainer with a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring media professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects, and the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, developing course content, and guiding students to build professional-level video editing and motion graphics skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery: Conduct interactive and hands-on training sessions (online/offline) covering video editing, motion graphics, color grading, compositing, and storytelling techniques.
• Curriculum Development: Design, update, and improve course materials, including lessons, exercises, assignments, and assessments.
• Project Guidance: Mentor students on real-world projects such as advertisements, short films, social media videos, and motion graphics assignments, providing creative and technical feedback.
• Student Support & Assessment: Provide personalized guidance, clarify doubts, review assignments, track progress, and give constructive feedback to help students grow.
• Industry Relevance: Stay updated with the latest video production trends, editing workflows, and motion graphics techniques to keep the curriculum current.
• Career Services: Support students in creating professional showreels/portfolios, optimizing resumes, and preparing for interviews in video editing and motion graphics roles.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other trainers and the academic team to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (editing workflows, color correction, audio mixing, export settings).
• Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (color grading, editing workflows, media management, delivery).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, typography animation, VFX basics).
• Understanding of editing techniques, design principles, and storytelling fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for graphics integration.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
• Passion for teaching, creativity, and inspiring learners.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in training, mentoring, or guiding students/teams (formal or informal).
• Background in Film, Media, Animation, or related creative fields.
• Knowledge of 3D integration workflows (Element 3D for After Effects).
• Experience with sound design tools (Adobe Audition, Audacity).
• Skills in green screen keying, tracking, rotoscoping, and advanced color grading.
• Familiarity with industry plugins and templates (Red Giant, Video Copilot, Mocha AE).
• Knowledge of social media content editing (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok-style workflows).
