Position: Video Creator / Educational Video Producer

Role Overview

We are looking for talented and creative Video Creators to produce high-quality educational videos for our LMS platform. The ideal candidate has strong video production skills, understands how to translate academic concepts into visually engaging content, and can collaborate with SMEs, teachers, and content developers to bring lessons to life.
This role requires a mix of creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for simplifying learning through powerful visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production (End-to-End)

• Shoot, edit, and produce educational videos, explainer videos, demonstrations, and teacher-led instructional content.
• Handle all stages of production including scripting support, filming, lighting, sound, editing, and final rendering.
• Ensure videos follow academic guidelines and align with CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE curriculum standards when relevant.

2. Collaboration with Academic Teams

• Work closely with SMEs, teachers, and content developers to:
• Understand lesson objectives
• Build accurate visual explanations
• Create relevant visual aids, animations, and examples
• Participate in planning meetings for lesson flow, structure, and visual direction.

3. Video Editing & Post-Production

• Add text overlays, graphics, animations, transitions, voice-overs, and visual reinforcements.
• Incorporate brand elements, intro/outro templates, and formatting guidelines for LMS compatibility.
• Optimize videos for engagement, pacing, and clarity.

4. Creative Design & Visualization

• Create motion graphics, whiteboard animations, screen recordings, and infographic videos as needed.
• Develop creative solutions to simplify complex concepts visually.
• Maintain consistent look, feel, and quality across all videos.

5. Technical & Quality Standards

• Ensure videos meet resolution, file size, sound quality, and formatting requirements for LMS upload.
• Manage studio setup including lighting, camera positioning, green screens, and audio equipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical alignment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Animation, Visual Arts, Film Production, or related fields.
• 1–4 years of experience in educational video creation, YouTube content, corporate videos, or e-learning production.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
• After Effects / DaVinci Resolve
• Photoshop, Illustrator (preferred)
• Screen recording tools & LMS-compatible export settings
• Ability to create storyboard sequences and simple animations.
• Experience working with EdTech or LMS platforms (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication and visualization skills.
