Vice Principal

As a committed and visionary Vice Principal, your role will involve providing academic and administrative leadership to support the Principal. You will oversee curriculum delivery, faculty management, student discipline, and academic planning to ensure the school's culture of excellence and holistic education. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Principal in day-to-day school leadership, strategy, and decision-making. - Supervise teaching staff by providing mentoring, training, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing lesson planning. - Lead curriculum implementation in accordance with CISCE (ICSE/ISC) requirements. - Coordinate academic programs, examinations, and analyze results. - Monitor student discipline, attendance, and well-being in collaboration with teachers and hostel wardens. - Establish strong parent engagement and communication systems. - Support teacher recruitment, orientation, and professional development. - Ensure compliance with CISCE norms, inspections, and quality benchmarks. - Collaborate with the Administrator on operations, budgeting, and school events. - Step in as Acting Principal during absences. Qualifications: - Masters degree in Education/Science/Arts/Management (B.Ed mandatory). - Minimum 8-10 years of teaching experience with at least 3-5 years in leadership/coordination roles (Vice Principal, Head of Department, or similar). - Strong knowledge of ICSE/ISC curriculum and academic management. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Fluent in English (spoken & written); basic Kannada or Telugu preferred for local coordination. - Experience in faculty training, school inspections, and academic audits. - Exposure to residential school systems is a strong plus.
