About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Vice President Sales with extensive experience in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge, a strong network within the education ecosystem, and a proven ability to drive growth through strategic planning, people management, and market expansion. This leadership role demands a hands-on approach to developing scalable sales strategies, driving high conversion rates, and building a high-performing sales team across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute data-driven sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor a large sales team including Regional Managers, Counselors, and BDEs.
  • Set and track monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all regions.
  • Implement KPIs and performance review systems to ensure accountability and productivity.

Business Development

  • Expand student acquisition (B2C) and explore institutional alliances (B2B).
  • Identify new geographies and channels for growth in the overseas education market.
  • Represent the brand at education fairs, school/university tie-ups, and industry events.

Revenue Growth & Conversion

  • Analyze lead flow and drive strategies to improve conversions from leads to enrollments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to improve lead quality and targeting.
  • Monitor and forecast revenue pipelines; implement corrective actions as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Admissions, Operations, and Student Success teams.
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing for targeted campaigns and lead nurturing.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education domain.
  • Strong understanding of international education systems and student counseling lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, distributed teams (50+ members).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, WhatsApp automation, data analysis, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
  • Willingness to travel across locations for center visits, events, and business expansion.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (mandatory)

Candidates who can join on an immediate basis will be preferred.
