Job Description

The Vice President, Product Management is a pivotal role within our global team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Mastercard Processing. Your primary focus will be on advancing the product development of the Processing product and collaborating with other Consumer Product teams to define value propositions for Mastercard on a broader scale. As our business undergoes a transition towards global growth and delivery, your leadership will play a crucial role in guiding the team through this change. You will be instrumental in evolving the team to operate from multiple hubs and fostering collaboration with regional and market product, technology, marketing, legal, and finance teams to develop a strategy, roadmap, and execution model for scalable success. Your responsibilities will include leading and nurturing the Issuing Processing Product team, cultivating a high-performance culture, and assessing talent needs across multiple locations worldwide. You will also be responsible for setting and communicating the product vision and strategy in alignment with regional partners and market trends. Keeping abreast of market developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes will be essential, as you oversee research and development agendas and leverage market insights to drive product development and delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and technical teams to translate market needs into a global product strategy and execution plan. In addition, you will be expected to educate internal teams on the global issuing processing strategy, drive innovation, and develop new offerings while leveraging Mastercard assets to create cutting-edge solutions and services. We are looking for an experienced team leader with a proven track record in developing product strategies and successfully executing them against commercial targets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to work across cultures and influence stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to drive change initiatives, adapt to evolving environments, and translate strategies into actionable plans will be critical to your success in this role.
