Vice President Operations

As a VP of Operations at the construction business, your role will involve supporting, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for defining and implementing operational strategies, structures, policies, and processes. Managing the budget and ensuring company profitability will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also need to monitor performance, identify efficiency issues, and propose solutions proactively. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a working knowledge of HR Development, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Plant & Machinery, Finance & Accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Project Management Information System (PMIS) - Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations management team - Lead various departments and Pan India operations - Address unforeseen issues and troubleshoot as needed - Ensure schedules are maintained and materials, machinery, and service providers are available - Update the project management information system and provide regular reporting - Foster vibrant internal and external coordination and communication for project success Qualifications Required: - Educational background in BE/ME/MTech (Civil) from reputed colleges - MBA/LLB degree - PMP Certification (preferred) Other Details: - Minimum 22-30 years of experience in projects - Exposure to a minimum of 10 years with contract companies - Experience working in a 1000 crore atmosphere - Ability to manage multiple teams - PAN India and EPC exposure is a must - Proficiency in Hindi language in addition to English and Tamil If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit, high-level influencing and emotional intelligence, proven leadership skills, demonstrative project and budgetary expertise, strong business acumen, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and the capability to work under high pressure, you are the ideal candidate for this role.
