PROFILE - Bidding and Costing:Evaluate projects for bidding, prepare tender documents, costings, BOQs, and covering letters as per guidelines.Manage supplier rates, pre-bid queries, and reverse auctions while coordinating with project teams for final offers.Negotiation and Customer Interaction:Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients alongside the project team.Tendering to Project Handover:Review work orders for accuracy, facilitate internal kick-off meetings, and refine cost sheets for seamless material indenting.Amendments in Ongoing Projects:Handle non-tendered items, prepare, and finalize cost sheets and BOQs, and update ERP for new systems or revisions.Prequalification and Vendor Registration:Register NPPL on customer portals, submit EOI/prequalification documents, and coordinate with relevant departments.Roles & Responsibilities 1 Costing review as per Commercial Policy i. Validation of bids & reviewing of proposed waterproofing system, costing, alternate possible systems for daily outgoing bids. Discussing bids with Head Sales / MD as per approval matrix. ii. Value engineering for revisions for all bids, providing inputs for final stage of negotiations & discussion on spec change iii. Reviewing cost with Project team before submission of final offer to customer2. Negotiation & interaction with Customers (for large size projects) i. Participating in prebid, techno-commercial negotiation meeting with customers along with sales team ii. Participating in technical presentations along with Project / Quality / Spec team for Premiumisation of waterproofing systems iii. Discussion on Payment Terms / non negotiable clauses with Customers 3 . Infighting and hot bids evaluation i. Identify market insights on new chemicals / products and presenting monthly report on the same ii. Cascading on new margin policy format and assumptions to the project and sales team periodically iii. For all hot bids which are going to be finalized, organize meetings with key stakeholders on support and align with mangement iv. Post meeting incorporate specification changes, update for techno-commercial bids and discussion on queries raised by team v. Doing weekly review of submitted bids & pipeline region wise with sales team and publish report to Sales & Operations heads4. MIS, Price Trend, Margin, Success Ratio Analysis i. Doing analysis for past price trend, Margins as input to revise / update existing commercial policy. ii. Fornightly analysis of Success Ratios segment wise, branch wise and bucket wise and publish reportPreferred candidate profile Experience - Senior Manager with 10 to 12 + Years of ExperienceEducation Background BE / B.Tech / M.
