About the Team:
The Global List Services (GLS) team is responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality universe of companies and professionals who are invited to participate in Coalition Greenwich s proprietary research studies. This involves leveraging historical data, client inputs, third-party sources, and rigorous research and verification processes to ensure the list is accurate, relevant, and aligned with project objectives. The team also provides critical support during the interview period, addressing data accuracy queries and continuously improving universe quality through analytics and feedback.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to lead the Global List Services team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end universe management process, ensuring data integrity, optimizing workflows, and driving strategic improvements. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a deep understanding of research data ecosystems and third-party databases. They will play a key role in setting the vision for the function and ensuring best-in-class quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Global List Services (GLS) team across all facets of universe creation, maintenance, and delivery.
- Ensure all lists meet project requirements in terms of accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
- Develop and implement best practices, SOPs, and standard operating workflows for universe creation and maintenance.
- Define, monitor, and improve KPIs related to team performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct periodic quality audits and address gaps through targeted interventions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Research, Fieldwork, Client Service, Tech) to align universe-related processes with broader project timelines and goals.
- Oversee the use of external databases like ZoomInfo, Bloomberg, Preqin, and others to source, validate, and enrich contact data.
- Lead initiatives to automate and scale universe management processes where feasible.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and drive performance.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the function.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with databases such as ZoomInfo, Bloomberg, Preqin , etc.
- Proven ability to manage large datasets, with attention to quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management experience with a track record of delivering on-time and within quality benchmarks.
- Ability to define and manage KPIs, using data to drive accountability and performance.
- Experience in process standardization and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
- Exhibit exceptional project management capabilities, coordinating with various organizational teams and meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with financial acumen, strong business orientation, and strategic mindset. MBA or master s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, market research, business intelligence or project management
- Exposure to research operations, panel management, or CRM systems.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Prior experience in market research, financial services, or professional services industry
