Vice President - Finance

Job Summary:

Archipel India is looking for a Vice President - Finance who can lead the project finance as well as profitability and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate is a CA/MBA graduate from tier 1 B-school, have at least 3 years of leadership experience managing organizations with revenues exceeding $10 million, exposure to carbon markets and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive financial strategy, planning, and forecasting in alignment with business goals.
• Serve as a key advisor to the Director and Board on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead long-term financial planning and scenario modelling to support strategic initiatives and sustainability goals.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and profitability to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Help in preparing investor presentations, pitch decks, and financial models for potential fundraising.
• Provide strategic oversight on financial aspects of Nature Based Solutions.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or MBA-Finance from Tier-1 B school with minimum 10+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic executive role.
• Demonstrated success in managing finances of companies with $10M+ annual revenues.
• Strong preference for experience in agriculture, sustainability, carbon market or FMCG.
• Exceptional financial modelling, analysis, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• High integrity and a deep understanding of corporate governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
