Vice President Events

As a Vice President: Events at the company, your role will involve rebuilding ZOOMs Event Production & Management business unit. You should be results-driven, commercially astute, and ambitious, with a focus on business development, team leadership, and P&L management within the event management industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Take ownership of and actively drive the business development process. - Lead the identification, bidding, and closure of high-value event management contracts. - Ensure timely delivery of revenue-generating projects. - Manage the P&L for the entire business unit. - Collaborate with Engineering & Technology teams to develop client solutions. - Establish a diverse portfolio of clients in Sports, Media, Entertainment, Technology, and the Public Sector. - Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing individuals to grow the business unit. **Qualifications Required:** - Essential: B. Tech/B.E. in ECE/EEE/CS - Preferred: MBA or master's degree in Sales/Marketing/Finance/Strategy The ideal candidate for this position should have: - Around 20 years of progressive experience in the Event Management Industry. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development within the sector. - At least 5 years of experience as a P&L Owner. - Proven success in closing high-value event management contracts. - Demonstrated ability to cultivate long-term professional relationships with clients. - Track record of building successful business units from the ground up.
