Job Description

The Emerging Corp Relationship Manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within the field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in the job and the business. You are a recognized technical authority in a specific area within the business and require basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Your work has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables, providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business, ultimately affecting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Your responsibilities include calling on clients to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to, uncovering, and anticipating future needs, roadblocks, or risks. You introduce solutions to clients to build and strengthen an effective portfolio, working with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet individual client needs. Additionally, you work closely with Case Managers on the onboarding and retention of clients, ensuring appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) and compliance deliverables are met. Identifying cross-sell opportunities, maximizing client experience, driving innovation, executing strategic initiatives, and networking with clients for new business opportunities are also key aspects of your role. As an Emerging Corp Relationship Manager, you must administrate the credit relationship of the client, coordinate and supervise the entire process, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies, and appropriately assess risk when making business decisions. Qualifications for this role include 6-10 years of experience, sound knowledge of banking and investment products, and the ability to provide sound banking and financial advice to clients. You should demonstrate advanced credit skills, the ability to work effectively in a team setting, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Additionally, you must be able to work under pressure, have a proactive approach to strengthening business relationships, and embrace new technology while understanding the role of digital in client experience. Education requirements include a Bachelors/University degree, with a Masters degree preferred. This full-time role falls under the Job Family Group of Commercial and Business Sales, specifically in the Job Family of Relationship Management.
