Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The VFD Repair Engineer will be responsible for repairing variable frequency drives (VFD), troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, conducting component-level repairs (AC drives, DC drives, PLCs, HMI, touch panels, etc.), and performing testing procedures to ensure proper functionality. The role will also involve providing technical support, installation, and maintenance services for industrial and solar inverter equipment. Collaboration with customers to understand technical requirements and ensure high-quality service delivery is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge and hands-on skills in repairing and troubleshooting AC and DC drives, Servo drives, and VFD systems
• Experience in component-level repairs of industrial electronics, including PLCs, HMI, touch panels, and PCBs
• Proficiency in power quality analysis, harmonics correction, and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Experience with installation and maintenance for industrial and solar inverter systems
• Familiarity with PLC & SCADA-based industrial automation systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site with minimal supervision
• Relevant technical education or certification in electrical, electronics, or related engineering fields is preferred
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers and teams
