Key Responsibilities: Vendor Onboarding & Development Identify, approach, and onboard emerging brands, artisans, and manufacturers from across India. Build a robust vendor base specializing in home dcor, showpieces, accessories, soft furnishings, and festive items. Handle contract finalization, commission discussions, and end-to-end onboarding including catalog setup. Category Strategy & Growth Define and execute category expansion roadmaps aligned with marketplace trends, seasonality, and consumer behavior. Conduct regular product gap analysis to develop a curated assortment of relevant SKUs. Launch and scale new collections from partners with compelling stories and regional diversity. Merchandising & Marketing Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure accurate product listings, content, pricing, and categorization. Work with marketing and campaign teams for visibility, promotions, and conversion optimization. Improve GMV contribution through frequent seller engagement, pricing optimization, and promotional planning. Data & Sales Analysis Monitor sales performance, stock movement, and order fulfilment metrics to identify growth and correction areas. Lead monthly/quarterly reviews with vendors to analyze business contribution and define forward plans. Take corrective action on OOS, return rates, and slow-moving SKUs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with design, tech, QC, logistics, and customer support to ensure seamless end-customer experience. Work with finance and legal teams for timely payments, vendor issues, and SLA compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant experience in category management or vendor handling in home dcor/lifestyle/gifting. Strong vendor base and understanding of sourcing dynamics across India. Demonstrated success in category growth, new product development, and vendor negotiations. Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills. Preferred Candidate Attributes: Experience with platforms like Pepperfry, IGP.com, amazon,flipkart or artisanal marketplaces. Passion for curating culturally rich and trend-aligned product assortments. Fast executioner, data-driven decision-maker, and strong sense of ownership
