Vendor Operations & Execution Manager

As a Vendor Operations & Execution Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between internal stakeholders and external manufacturers/factories, working closely with the Project Manager - Vendor Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage vendor-related processes, from purchase orders to issue resolution, allowing the Key Account Management (KAM) team to concentrate on client relationships. You will be tasked with maintaining daily communication with vendors and factories, proactively addressing production bottlenecks or delays. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and reconciling purchase orders, aligning delivery expectations with vendor capacity, and serving as the first point of contact for vendor queries to minimize disruptions. Providing real-time updates on vendor timelines, quality issues, and delivery changes to the KAM team will also be part of your role. In terms of documentation, you will be required to maintain detailed logs of purchase orders, invoices, vendor communications, delivery schedules, and issue resolutions. Moreover, you will oversee the management of tracking tools, performance dashboards, and recommend workflow improvements. To be successful in this role, you should have 4-5+ years of experience in project management, production coordination, supply chain, procurement, vendor operations, or a related field, preferably in manufacturing or jewelry. Excellent communication skills, organizational focus, attention to detail, and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, ERP systems, and project management platforms are essential. A problem-solving attitude and the ability to independently resolve vendor issues swiftly will be highly valued.
