Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify potential vendors for sheet metal, brass, copper, and rubber components
Evaluate vendor capabilities, quality, and reliability for automotive applications
Ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet automotive industry standards
Work with vendors to improve quality, delivery, and service for automotive components
Build and maintain good relationships with old and new vendors.
Regularly analysing and understand the market value of different products.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance metrics (e.g., quality, delivery, lead time)
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards
Negotiate long term contracts and agreements with vendors
Identify opportunities for cost reduction through vendor development and negotiations
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards
Familiarity with automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949)
Understanding of automotive component requirements and regulations
Knowledge of automotive quality management systems (QMS)
Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
Understanding of sheet metal, brass, copper, and rubber component manufacturing processes

Skill Required:

B. Tech from Mechanical/automobile engineering
Must have experience of automobile Industry
Should have excellent negotiation skills.
Min 8 yrs experience of automotive industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with communication skills
