About the Company

We are a leading road construction and infrastructure development company managing a large fleet of vehicles, machinery, and equipment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Vehicles Manager to oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, documentation, and related procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily management of all company vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor routine service, repairs, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with vehicle workshops, mechanics, and service centers.
  • Identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure timely repairs.
  • Manage procurement of spare parts, tyres, lubricants, batteries, and other vehicle-related items.
  • Maintain proper records of service history, fuel consumption, spare parts usage, and repair logs.
  • Verify incoming spare parts, service quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships with vehicle service providers, spare parts suppliers, and rental agencies.
  • Negotiate rates with vendors and ensure cost-efficient vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with RTO regulations, insurance, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project sites for vehicle allocation, breakdown response, and emergency repairs.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
  • 3–10 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, mechanical works, automobile service, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and construction vehicle operations.
  • Practical understanding of heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, and construction machinery (preferred).
  • Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with vendors and workshop teams.
  • Ability to source and procure vehicle-related materials efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and digital documentation.

  • Reliable, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple vehicles and workshops.
  • Cost-conscious and skilled in vendor negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle field visits when required.
