Store Keeper - Construction Company

About the Company

We are a leading road construction and infrastructure development company focused on delivering high-quality projects. We are looking for a reliable and well-organized Store Keeper to manage site inventory, construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, issuing, and recording of construction materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain updated stock registers (manual & digital) with accurate documentation.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and preservation of materials as per standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, purchase department, and project managers for daily requirements.
• Monitor stocks and raise reorder levels to avoid material shortages.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, specification, and quantity compliance.
• Maintain records of tools, machinery, electrical items, and fuel consumption logs.
• Manage returnable items, calibration records, and equipment tracking.
• Assist in monthly stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• ITI or Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Fitter / Any Technical Trade).
• 2–8 years’ experience in construction site stores, preferably in road or infrastructure works.
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and methods is essential.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and fitting tools & components.
• Familiarity with stock management software, Excel, and WhatsApp reporting.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a fast-paced store environment.
