Role & responsibilities 1. Vehicle Valuation i. Evaluate vehicle specifications: Assess vehicle specifications, including make, model, year, engine capacity, transmission type, and other relevant features. ii. Determine vehicle value: Determine the value of vehicles based on their specifications, condition, and market trends. iii. Use valuation tools and techniques : Utilize various valuation tools and techniques, such as pricing guides and market research, to determine vehicle values. 2. Inspection and Assessment i. Conduct vehicle inspections*: Conduct physical inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify any defects or issues. ii. Assess vehicle condition*: Assess the condition of vehicles, including their exterior, interior, and mechanical components. iii. Document findings*: Document findings and observations about vehicle condition and specifications. 3. Market Research and Analysis i. Stay up-to-date with Automobile Industry : Stay informed about market trends and changes in OEM / Model / Variants. ii. Analyse market data : Analyse market data to identify patterns and trends in vehicle pricing. 4. Reporting and Communication i. Prepare valuation reports: Prepare detailed valuation reports that include vehicle specifications, condition, and value. ii. Communicate with stakeholders : Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and internal teams, about vehicle valuations and related issues. iii. Provide expert advice : Provide expert advice in preparing used vehicles grids and related matters. Preferred candidate profile Qualification A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, automotive technology. Specialized Knowledge In-depth knowledge of vehicle specifications, valuation, and inspection. Skill Set (Must) IRDA Certification Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex valuation concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Technical Skill Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
