Description
As a Senior UX Manager, you will be responsible for solo-managing projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and design excellence. Responsibilities: - Lead the design of complex, large-scale projects from concept to launch, ensuring that they meet business goals and user needs - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users, including their needs, behaviors, and motivations - Create and maintain user personas, user journeys, and other design documentation to guide design decisions - Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions - Develop and maintain wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts to stakeholders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure design solutions meet business goals and user needs - Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to inform design decisions and measure the effectiveness of design solutions - Develop and maintain design systems, including design languages, style guides, and component libraries - Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and guidance on design projects - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes and solutions UX Design: - User research and analysis - User persona development - User journey mapping - Wireframing and prototyping - Interaction design - Visual design - Design systems and design languages Design Tools: - Sketching and ideation tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) - Prototyping tools (e.g. InVision, Adobe XD, Figma) - Design systems and style guide tools (e.g. Storybook, Bit) - Usability testing and research tools (e.g. UserTesting, TryMyUI) Project Management: - Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) - Project planning and management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, Jira) - Stakeholder management and communication Communication and Collaboration: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to non-design stakeholders - Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing Analytical and Problem-Solving: - Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions - Experience with A/B testing and data analysis - Ability to measure the effectiveness of design solutions and make data-driven design decisions Leadership and Mentorship: - Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers - Ability to provide feedback and guidance on design projects - Experience leading design teams and managing design projects Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field - Minimum of 10-12 years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role - Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma - Strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and process - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Nice to Have: - Experience with front-end development (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Experience with design automation and scripting (e.g. Sketch plugins, Adobe XD plugins) - Experience with accessibility design and accessibility testing - Certification in UX design or a related field,
