Job Description

As a UX Designer in Pune, India, your role will involve solving complex problems and creating seamless, human-centered support experiences. You will collaborate on the design process, from discovery research and journey mapping to prototyping and testing. Working closely with cross-functional partners, your aim will be to simplify workflows, empower users, and shape the future of products. The User Experience Design (UXD) team is committed to making products intuitive, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone. This globally distributed team of researchers, designers, content strategists, and developers believes in diverse perspectives and a collaborative approach grounded in teamwork, empathy, and transparency to build user-centric experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate creative design approaches, incorporate feedback, and stay open to new ideas - Lead or participate in continuous discovery, user journey mapping, empathy mapping, or other workshops - Use AI-enabled tools to deliver artifacts like click-through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, and maps - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to align user needs with technical feasibility - Foster collaboration, stay updated with the latest design and technology trends - Utilize LLMs (e.g., Google Gemini) for tasks such as user research synthesis, generating initial design concepts, summarizing user feedback, drafting user flows, and enhancing problem-solving efficiency **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5 years of experience as a UX or Product Designer, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments - Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar, with experience in prototyping and working with design systems - Experience with enterprise design systems, responsive layouts, and meeting WCAG accessibility standards - Knowledge of usability testing and heuristic evaluation methods - Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments - Degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field **About the Company:** Red Hat is the world's leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions.
