Description
As a User Experience Designer at Armstrongs, you will be responsible for designing user-centric, intuitive, and scalable interfaces for our digital product suites, specifically the Warehouse Control System (WCS), Warehouse Execution System (WES), and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your focus will be on UX/UI design to ensure seamless usability across various platforms including desktop, tablet, industrial terminals, and mobile. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the behavioural patterns and mental models of different user personas. - Tailor interfaces to suit varied skill levels, workflows, and operational contexts. - Design responsive and scalable UI layouts for WCS, WES, and WMS applications. - Create workflows, prototypes, and visual designs that simplify complex operational data. - Translate user needs, task flows, and pain points into intuitive screen experiences. - Design for desktop-first enterprise systems with adaptations for tablets, handhelds, and industrial HMIs. - Maintain consistency, clarity, and usability across all device types. - Collaborate with Product teams and cross-functional teams to refine requirements. - Participate in design reviews and provide clear asset hand-offs to engineering. - Conduct basic usability validations and iterate rapidly based on feedback. Qualifications & Skills: - Around 5 years of UX/UI design experience with enterprise products. - Strong portfolio showcasing UI design and problem-solving. - Proficiency in Figma or equivalent tools. - Ability to simplify complex workflows. - Strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred / Added Weightage: - Experience in IoT or real-time data interfaces. - Degree/diploma in UX/UI. - Coursework in psychology or human behavior.
