US Tax Specialist

🔷 Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage preparation of complex

  US Real Estate tax returns

  including:
• Form 1065 (Partnerships)
• Form 1120 / 1120-REIT (Corporations & REITs)
• High-net-worth individual returns with real estate schedules
• Oversee tax compliance cycles and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Review work papers, depreciation schedules, fixed assets, and real estate transaction details.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax associates and senior associates.
• Provide guidance on federal and state tax laws related to real estate investments.
• Communicate with US clients to clarify requirements and report status updates.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Assist with tax planning, projections, and advisory related to real estate portfolios.

🔷 Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years

  of solid experience in

  US Taxation

  , specifically in

  real estate

  .
• Proven experience reviewing complex real estate partnership and corporate returns.
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations.
• Experience working with US clients (CPA firms or real estate groups preferred).
• Proficiency in tax software such as

  UltraTax, GoSystem, CCH Axcess, ProConnect

  , etc.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and review skills.
