US Tax Specialist

As a Tax Manager specializing in US Real Estate Taxation, your role will involve overseeing the preparation of complex tax returns for various entities including Partnerships (Form 1065), Corporations & REITs (Form 1120 / 1120-REIT), and high-net-worth individuals with real estate schedules. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and managing the preparation of complex US Real Estate tax returns - Overseeing tax compliance cycles to ensure timely and accurate deliverables - Reviewing work papers, depreciation schedules, fixed assets, and real estate transaction details - Managing and mentoring a team of tax associates and senior associates - Providing guidance on federal and state tax laws related to real estate investments - Communicating with US clients to clarify requirements and report status updates - Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality - Assisting with tax planning, projections, and advisory related to real estate portfolios To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - 7-10+ years of solid experience in US Taxation, specifically in real estate - Proven experience in reviewing complex real estate partnership and corporate returns - Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations - Experience working with US clients, with preference given to those with experience in CPA firms or real estate groups - Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax, GoSystem, CCH Axcess, ProConnect, etc. - Excellent analytical, communication, and review skills This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to strategic tax planning, and make a tangible impact on real estate investments.,
