US Partnership Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities: 19981

• Review and manage complex US Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065) and supporting workpapers.
• Handle compliance for:
• Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3
• State and Local Tax (SALT)
• International filings
• Deliver tax planning and advisory services for financial services clients.
• Lead day-to-day client relationships, provide expert consulting, and proactively resolve tax issues.
• Manage, coach, and mentor staff; participate in performance reviews.
• Collaborate seamlessly with US counterparts, using state-of-the-art global tax technology platforms.
  

Must-Haves

• 6+ years of progressive experience in US Taxation (1065 focus).
• 1+ year experience at Manager level in US Tax domain.
• Experience with Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Fund of Funds, or Venture Capital structures.
• Proficient in US Federal Tax Compliance related to partnerships.
• Strong technical experience with Forms 1065, K-1, K-2, K-3, and associated reporting.
• Certified: EA / CA / CPA – Mandatory.
• Strong client handling, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Background must be from Consulting/CPA firms (Big 4 or reputed mid-size firms).
• No job-hopping; good tenure stability is required.
