Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review and manage complex U.S. tax returns for partnerships (Form 1065), including K-1, K-2, and K-3 schedules.
Handle state/local tax and international filing compliances for Financial Services clients.
Lead relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting Partners in delivering quality client service.
Provide tax planning, technical consultation, and guidance to teams and clients.
Manage team performance, training, and development in alignment with firm standards.
Collaborate with U.S. counterparts, leveraging global tools and processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

Professional certification: CA / CPA / EA (Mandatory).
6+ years of U.S. taxation experience with at least 1 year as a Manager.
Demonstrated experience with:

1065 Partnership Taxation for Hedge Funds, PE, VC, or Fund of Funds.
U.S. Tax Law compliance & workpaper review.
Multistate and international tax filings.

Strong client service orientation and communication skills.
Stable work history (no gaps or frequent job changes).

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience with:

Hedge Fund / PE / FoF structures
State apportionment and foreign disclosures

Candidates from Big 4 or reputed tax advisory boutiques
Prior exposure to U.S. client coordination
