US Accounting (Bookkeeping Focus)

Core Bookkeeping & Accounting

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP basics.
• Journal Entries – recording daily transactions accurately.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable management.
• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations.
• General Ledger (GL) Maintenance.
• Fixed Assets & Depreciation Accounting.
• Payroll Accounting (processing, posting payroll entries, benefits, 401k deductions).
• Month-End/Quarter-End Closing activities.

Tax & Compliance

• Basic understanding of US Federal & State Taxes (sales/use tax, payroll tax, W-9/W-2/1099 compliance).
• Familiarity with IRS rules for small to mid-size businesses.

Software Proficiency

• QuickBooks Online/Desktop (mandatory for US bookkeeping roles).
• Other tools: Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday (depending on company).
• MS Excel (Advanced) – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations, reports.

Process & Documentation

• Invoice Processing and vendor management.
• Expense Tracking & Reporting.
• Maintaining financial records in compliance with US standards.
• Preparing P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
