🚨 We’re Hiring: Bookkeeper / Accountant (Remote – Supporting US Operations) 🚨
Our Chicago-based firm is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management, efficient bookkeeping operations, and compliance with US GAAP.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesManage the general ledger, journal entries & account reconciliationsProcess & reconcile bank accounts and credit card statementsRecord all transactions: A/P, A/R, invoices, receipts & expensesPrepare monthly & yearly financial statements & reportsSupport annual audits and ensure compliance documentationMonitor cash flow & provide financial updates to managementMaintain financial records for tax reporting & compliance🔹 QualificationsCPA / Chartered Accountant / Semi-Qualified CA (or related)3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (US company experience required)Proficiency in QuickBooks / Xero (or similar)Strong knowledge of ledgers, reconciliations & financial reportingExcellent communication, organizational & problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and confidentialityPayroll & tax filing experience is a plus💡 Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with US federal & Illinois state tax regulationsExperience with SMBsAdvanced Excel skills🕑 Work Timings: 2 PM – 10:30 PM IST (flexible ±30 mins)📅 Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferredIf you’re ready to take ownership of end-to-end accounting and work with a growing US-based business, we’d love to connect!👉 Apply/DM us directly here on LinkedIn if you’re interested or know someone who might be a great fit.
