US Accounting

As an experienced accounting professional with 10+ years of core accounting experience, you will be responsible for overseeing teams of at least 10-15 members and demonstrating proven leadership and team management skills. Your role will involve Delivery Management within a US-based firm, requiring in-depth knowledge of various US accounting systems and advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills will be essential for effective client interaction and service. Your key responsibilities will include: - Serving as the primary point of contact for multiple locations across the US, ensuring effective communication and coordination. - Maintaining high standards of client interaction and service by communicating effectively and professionally. - Overseeing the onboarding of new clients, ensuring proper setup and handover to team members, and adhering to standard operating procedures. - Collaborating with clients to identify and fulfill their product or service requirements. - Planning, executing, and managing client accounts and projects to ensure successful outcomes. - Ensuring client satisfaction and retention through effective management and service delivery. - Coordinating and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance and timely, accurate reporting. - Ensuring the delivery of efficient and accurate financial reports. - Optimizing the utilization of team members to ensure that billing hours meet the firm's minimum requirements in accordance with company policy. - Monitoring team progress and directing each member to help them achieve their goals. - Supervising and leading the team, providing guidance, training, and support. - Managing team performance metrics and being responsible and accountable for the team's performance. - Conducting regular one-on-one meetings with each team member to review performance, provide constructive feedback, and discuss professional development goals and opportunities. - Collaborating daily with the onshore engagement team to deliver work to onshore clients. - Assisting in the recruitment process and liaising internally to address the need for additional resources. Your expertise in complex problem-solving and strategic issue resolution, along with your knowledge of US Accounting, Investment accounting, Consolidated concepts, Private Equity accounting, Basic Trust & Foundation understanding, Basic tax treatments, and management experience, will be valuable assets in this role.,
