Location: 100% Onsite - Gurgaon Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 2-4 years in cost accounting We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Cost Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in cost accounting practices, proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel , and excellent communication skills to coordinate with international clients and vendors. Role & responsibilities Cost Analysis & Reporting Analyze and report on cost variances, standard costs, and actual production costs. Prepare detailed cost reports to assist in budgeting and financial planning. Monitor and report on cost variances and inefficiencies. 2 Way and 3 Way PO matching. Inventory Management Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliation and valuation. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Financial Coordination Collaborate with U.S.-based clients to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of reports. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 24 years in cost accounting Certifications: CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, pivot tables, sumproduct, data validation etc.). Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills. You must have an eye for detail . You need to be organized and methodical . You must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively .
