About The Opportunity

• Run dedicated urology outpatient clinics: evaluate referrals, perform diagnostic workups (imaging/endo), and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Plan and perform a broad range of urological surgeries including endourology (PCNL, ureteroscopy), TUR procedures (TURP/TURBT), laparoscopic and selected open urological operations.
• Manage inpatient and post-operative care: optimise pre-op risk, monitor recovery, and coordinate discharge planning and follow-up.
• Provide emergency urology coverage and timely interventions for acute presentations (obstructive uropathy, hematuria, urosepsis, trauma).
• Collaborate with anaesthesia, radiology, nephrology and oncology in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex-case planning.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors, residents and nursing staff; contribute to training, audits and continuous quality-improvement initiatives.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MCh in Urology (or equivalent DNB Urology) with current Indian medical council/state medical registration.
• Demonstrable competence in endourology (PCNL, URS), transurethral procedures and core laparoscopic urological operations.
• Strong clinical judgement and experience managing outpatient, inpatient and emergency urology caseloads.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation and commitment to patient safety and documentation.
  

Preferred

• Fellowship or specialised training in endourology, minimally invasive urology or uro-oncology; experience with robotic-assisted procedures is a plus.
• Track record of teaching, clinical audits, and publications or participation in research projects.
