Urgent Requirement: Test Engineers-Hyderabad – Hybrid/2 days onsite

Our client is currently seeking a 4-member Test Engineer team based in India to support our Selenium automation efforts focused on testing product functionality across web-based applications.

Job Title: Mid-Level Test Engineer – Selenium Automation

Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Momento Cybertech Solutions Pvt Ltd. Hyderabad

Have to work on EST- working hours are 3 PM IST to 12 PM IST.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mid-Level Test Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in Selenium-based test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our web-based applications across multiple browsers and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation scripts for functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Develop test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize browser drivers (e.g., ChromeDriver, GeckoDriver) to ensure compatibility across different browsers.
• Integrate automation scripts with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Pytest for structured execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to identify test scenarios and resolve defects.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Generate detailed test reports, log defects, and provide root cause analysis where necessary.
• Participate in code reviews, and provide feedback to maintain high test code quality.
• Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) process by integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and tools in test automation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, or similar.
• Solid understanding of test automation architecture, scripting best practices, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser behavior.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with cross-browser testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
