Job Description

Role Overview
A Fresher DevOps Engineer supports the automation and optimisation of software development and deployment, assists with system monitoring, and helps troubleshoot issues, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning.Key Responsibilities

Learn and assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GiLab CI).
Support operating and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Help automate deployment, testing, and release processes.
Collaborate with senior developers, IT, and QA teams to streamline software delivery.
Document process steps and contribute to operational knowledge base.
Apply basic troubleshooting to resolve minor technical and configuration issues.
Assist with infrastructure as code, learning tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
Take part in incident management and basic system maintenance when needed.
Follow security best practices in all assigned tasks.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Foundation in version control (Git), and basic software development concepts.
Eagerness to learn containerisation (Docker), cloud basics, and automation tools.
Good communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
