Role & responsibilities

• To manage routine testing activities, monitor the daily manufacturing cycle, generating feedback for process improvement, monitoring of non-conforming product for retesting and rework.
• Responsible for timely dispatch activities of FG goods and monitor the FG stock related activities and handling stock audits.
• Responsible for maintaining the non-moving inventory and dispatch to alternate customer.
• Responsible for all testing on new development cables (Optical, environmental & Mechanical Tests).
• Lead & develop the team to achieve the daily & monthly Targets of Quality dept.
• Responsible for submission of cable samples as per marketing requirement within stipulated time frame.
• Effective Manpower utilization in all three shifts to meet AOP testing target with minimum overtime. Output monitoring and skill assessment of testing Operators for Identifying train manpower for skill development.
• Responsible for smooth functioning of QM Module in SAP.
• Responsible for smooth functioning of QA softwares (testing software, offer register software, first sample inspection software, shift reports software).
• Support for SOP & ISO audits, documentation & revision in SOP as per requirement.
• Responsible for monitoring of testing tools and accessories.
• Follow the safety & health rules and protect the environment and our planet.
• Responsible for Business Continuity & Management system with reference to Quality Functions.
• Responsible to Conduct business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical business functions & Identifying Strategies and solutions.
• Responsible to keep align Business Continuity Plan and ensure Testing of business continuity plans.
• Support & maintain the 5S Programme.
• Team leader for Conducting Infrastructure Assessments as per the customer requirements and Bulk Testing of the optical fibre cables as per the customer Quality Standards.
• Responsible for Co-ordination with customer for product testing, approval (TSEC) and final despatch.
• Supporting customer Authorities for conducting Infrastructure Assessment for launching new design of optic fibre cables.
• Team leader of customer inspection team and guide the team to conduct inspection within given time.
• Responsible for carrying out customer inspection without any rejections.
• Co-ordinate with team during analysis of customer complaint.
• Responsible for completion of routine test activities by effectively utilizing available resources.
