Projects & Institutional Sales

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Portfolio Management

  • Promote and manage the complete spectrum of GM Modular products within the assigned region.
  • Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitor product offerings.
  • Provide feedback to the internal team for product refinement and enhancement.

2. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities in

    projects and institutional sales

    .
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Build a strong project pipeline through systematic engagement and market mapping.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with

    architects, builders, electrical contractors, electrical consultants, PMCs

    , and government departments.
  • Influence key decision-makers to ensure GM products are specified in BOQs, drawings, and tender documents.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions to support specification processes.

4. Funnel Management

  • Implement structured funnel management practices to track

    leads, opportunities, and conversions

    .
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and improve conversion rates across the sales cycle.
  • Maintain an updated and accurate project pipeline report.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Collect and analyze information related to competitor activities, pricing, new developments, and market behavior.
  • Share insights and recommendations with the management team to support business decisions.

6. Sales Strategy Implementation

  • Execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new verticals and strengthen GM Modulars presence in the project ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive targeted promotional initiatives and support brand visibility.
  • Assist in pricing decisions, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.

7. Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure smooth handling of customer inquiries, concerns, and service needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide timely, accurate, and reliable support.
  • Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and customer retention.

8. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, funnel updates, and performance dashboards.
  • Present insights to senior management to evaluate progress and identify improvement areas.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in

    project sales or institutional sales

    within the electrical, FMEG, lighting, or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop competitive sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
