Job Summary
The Resource Planner will be responsible for strategically planning and allocating shipyard resources including capital assets (dry dock, berths, fabrication shops, blasting & painting units), manpower, materials, and equipment across shipbuilding, repair, and heavy engineering projects.This role ensures: Optimal asset and manpower utilization Avoidance of project conflicts Alignment with project timelines and milestonesThe Resource Planner will schedule, track, and manage resource availability for current and upcoming projects to minimize delays, improve productivity, and maintain alignment with organizational priorities in a large-scale, capital-intensive shipyard environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields 2) Master’s degree or certifications in Resource Planning / Operations Management / Project Management preferred 3) Certifications in advanced planning tools or asset management are an added advantage. Preferred Experience1) 8+ years of experience in resource planning, asset management, or operations planning.2) Experience within shipbuilding, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries.3) Proven expertise in coordinating large-scale asset allocation and resource scheduling in high-demand environments.
