Role Overview

Data Protection Engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment, configuration, and management of backup and recovery solutions.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot backup/restore jobs daily.
  
• Assist in file-level, VM-level, and application-level recoveries.
  
• Participate in POCs, migrations, and upgrade activities.
  
• Maintain documentation and follow standard processes.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of

  Backup & Recovery Technologies

  .
• Familiarity with

  Windows/Linux servers

  and

  Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix)

  .
• Knowledge of

  storage concepts

  (SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication) is an advantage.
• Exposure to

  Veeam, Commvault, or Cohesity

  preferred.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/B.Sc (IT/Computer Science)

  or equivalent.

• Experience:

  14 Years
