Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manage general ledger and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Proven work experience as an accountant or in a related role (typically 2+ years).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tax preparation and filing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
