About the Role:

Travel Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Drive sales of international holiday packages (FIT/GIT) across B2C segments.
    • Identify new sales opportunities through direct client engagement, online inquiries, and referrals.
    • Design and sell tailor-made holiday packages as per customer requirements and budgets.
  • Client Handling:

    • Attend to client queries via calls, emails, and walk-ins with prompt and personalized service.
    • Advise clients on destination details, itineraries, visa requirements, insurance, and travel formalities.
    • Convert leads into confirmed bookings through consultative selling.
  • Team Management & Training:

    • Lead, mentor, and train a team of travel consultants and sales executives.
    • Monitor performance and ensure adherence to monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Supplier & Partner Coordination:

    • Work closely with DMCs, airlines, hotels, and visa partners for competitive rates and seamless execution.
    • Maintain strong relationships with global travel suppliers to enhance product offerings.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Ensure accurate documentation, timely invoicing, and smooth coordination with backend operations.
    • Resolve any client concerns or complaints with prompt action and professionalism.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in international holiday sales (minimum 710 years)
  • In-depth knowledge of global destinations (Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, USA, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in CRM and travel sales tools (Amadeus/Galileo preferred)
  • Leadership ability to manage and motivate a sales team

Qalifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
  • Diploma or Certification in Travel Management (preferred)
