University Operations Manager (UOM)

Function:

Post-Sales Operations – University Partnerships

Location:

Hyderabad (with travel to partner university locations, as required)

Role Summary:

We are looking for a

University Operations Manager (UOM)

to serve as the single point of contact for partnered universities after MoU signing. The role ensures that all contractual, operational, and administrative milestones are met before classwork begins.As a key bridge between internal teams and university stakeholders, you will manage the entire post-MoU execution process — from agreement finalization to academic readiness — ensuring seamless collaboration and timely program launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end post-MoU onboarding cycle for multiple university partners.
  • Coordinate MoU and service agreement execution, including escrow setup and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee curriculum alignment, infrastructure readiness, and website integration for new programs.
  • Integrate NxtWave’s admission process with university systems and train designated staff.
  • Conduct weekly review calls with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress tracking.
  • Maintain centralized trackers and dashboards to monitor partner readiness and performance metrics.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve operational bottlenecks swiftly to prevent launch delays.
  • Build relationship maps within each university to ensure strong stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure smooth transition and handover to the Academic Program Operations team post-launch.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Execution Mindset: Delivers results with speed, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Builds trust and influence across senior university and internal teams.
  • Process Orientation: Adheres to SOPs and proactively identifies improvement areas.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication in English; local language fluency preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively navigates institutional hierarchies and resolves complex issues.
  • Multi-Tasking: Manages multiple partnerships simultaneously with operational precision.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in Partner Success, Client Servicing, Enterprise Onboarding, or Higher Education Partnerships.
  • Proven experience in multi-stakeholder project management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Prior experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with education or university operations is an added advantage.
