As a Claims Unit Manager at Mrald (Mphasis dedicated UK Insurance operational services delivery vehicle), your role is crucial in leading the day-to-day activities of a Claims team to ensure the delivery of an effective and high-quality Claims service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team meets agreed SLAs and KPIs, while also providing strategic leadership and support to the Claims function as a whole. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee and lead the performance and running of a Claims team - Ensure the team possesses the necessary knowledge, skills, and cultural requirements for their roles - Deliver services in accordance with agreed SLAs and KPIs - Manage operational reports such as Diaries, ECF outstanding, Static Claims, Open Movements, and SharePoint effectively - Handle day-to-day people management of the Claims Team - Allocate work to the team and ensure all items are processed within SLAs - Monitor work progress and team productivity - Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders - Support and embed operational and strategic business changes into team processes - Work on Claims-related projects including transformations, transitions, MI improvements, and system enhancements - Ensure adherence to company compliance, policy, risk management, and audit requirements - Support team members in completing training and assessment exercises **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 6 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry - Experience working within a claims processing team for at least 6 years - Good understanding of London Market Specialty insurance - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Preferred: Experience in leading a team and strong technical knowledge of FCA GI regulation - Preferred: Professional Insurance industry qualification and university degree graduate As a part of Mphasis, you will be contributing to the company's mission of applying next-generation technology to help enterprises transform businesses globally.
