Job Description

Job Title: Unit Head Operations - Phthalocyanine Pigment Industry Location: Gujarat Job Summary: The Unit Head will oversee the operations of our pigment manufacturing facility in Dahej. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in manufacturing processes, team management, and operational excellence within the chemical industry. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management : Lead and manage all aspects of the pigment manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient production processes. Optimize production schedules and resource allocation to meet demand and maintain quality standards. Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and operators. Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance. Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to pigment manufacturing. Implement quality control measures to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction. Budget Management : Develop and manage the units budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource utilization. Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement. Collaboration : Work closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to align production capabilities with market needs. Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth supply chain. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the pigment or chemical industry. Strong knowledge of pigment manufacturing processes and technologies. Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational excellence. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
