UK Recruiter (Engineering & IT)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

-

- Source candidates using job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed), internal database, social media, referrals, and Boolean/X-Ray search techniques for UK and European markets.

- Screen candidates for technical skills, cultural fit, UK/EU work authorization and visa status (e.g., Skilled Worker, dependent, PSW, ILR, settled/pre-settled).

- Coordinate interviews with UK hiring managers, schedule across time zones, share feedback, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

- Maintain and update candidate pipeline, trackers and ATS/CRM, ensuring accurate data and timely reporting of daily/weekly hiring metrics.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and hiring managers, understanding role priorities and providing regular status updates.

Required skills & experience

- Strong knowledge of Boolean search strings, advanced filters, and sourcing on LinkedIn, job boards and social platforms.

- Good understanding of common UK visa categories/work authorization types and how they impact hiring eligibility.

- Excellent spoken and written English communication, with ability to interact confidently with UK stakeholders and candidates.

- Comfortable working in UK hours (typically 1:00 PM10:00 PM / 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST or similar) and managing roles across different European time zones.

- Strong coordination, follow-up, and negotiation skills with attention to detail and target orientation.

Education & competencies

- *Result*-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfort with MS Office/Google Sheets and basic ATS or recruitment CRM tools.

## Work conditions & compensation

-

- Working hours: UK shift (aligned to UK business hours, Monday–Friday).

- Salary: Up to INR 5.5 LPA CTC including 5% variable pay component, linked to individual and/or team hiring targets
