UK Account Assistant/Senior

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team, supporting our UK client operations. This role is ideal for a professional with strong bookkeeping and financial reporting experience who thrives in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll entries using accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero etc).

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and accounts.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC, ensuring compliance with UK VAT laws and filing deadlines.

Ensure adherence to UK Accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
